I admittedly started writing this blog post as a ‘Friday Favorites’ post of some of my favorite things from life recently…However, after writing “my final month in Florida” as just one thing on a bulleted list of five favorites – and realizing that I’d included about 15 photos with that bullet point alone – I realized I better make it it’s own stand-alone post!
(Also, of note: by “final month in Florida,” I don’t mean forever! I’m just referring to my final month there for the 2018 season!) I came home from Florida at the beginning of April, and the month leading up to my return to Pennsylvania was pretty jam-packed with work and life! Some of the fun highlights (seemingly all centered around the beach…):
Justin came down for his monthly visit, and we snuck in some beach time!:
Guys, side tangent! This is a terribly unflattering photo below, but it’s the only photo I have where you can kind of see my water shoes – and I have to give them a shout out! So random, and I don’t think I’ve worn any sort of water shoe since I was about 10, but my fiance’s brother and sister-in-law got us both these – and now I LOVE them! I’m super weird about stepping on things in the ocean or how the sand feels on my feet, and these were so great for not thinking about that. They’re Fit Kicks, and they’re called “active lifestyle footwear”…I say water shoes. But you can get them here, and I totally recommend them! #TeamWaterShoe
Another trip to the beach, this time for the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach:
It’s always such a fun show with a setting unlike anywhere else!
Pumba also made her inaugural visit to the beach (honestly, probably more trips to the beach were made in this one month than I made the whole rest of the winter lol):
The resemblance is uncanny here:
The month wasn’t all beaches and sunshine; there’s always quite a bit of work involved too! But no one really wants to see pictures of me sitting at my computer all the time! 😉 All in all, it was a great winter with the best team!! 🙂
Now I’m happy to be back in PA and look forward to sharing more from here!
