I’m not gonna lie here guys: I just looked at two other bloggers’ engagement photo posts to see what they wrote other than “Hey, here are some engagement photos! Our photographer rocks!” because that was about all I had text wise for this post. However, I was struck by how they both talked about how they had so much fun planning the engagement photos, and they spent all this time picking out the perfect outfits, etc., etc. Guys. That was so not me.
I think maybe it was because I totally trusted my photographer brother-in-law, Jeff Frandsen Photography, to pick the location and plan the shots, but I really did not put too much thought or time into it. (He asked me what I was thinking for look and feel, and I sent him a just a link to an entire Pinterest search of “outdoor engagement photo shoot,” no specific images at all, which was super helpful I’m sure. lol)
My trust and lack of guidance were proven to be acceptable though, as Jeff picked out the absolute perfect location at Historic Shady Lane, and I love his shots!! However, if I were to give advice to future brides-to-be, it would be to maybe actually plan out your outfits in advance and not just go to Lulus.com and see what you can get inexpensively rushed to you in 24-48 hours…just saying…but that unnecessary intro aside, here are a few (okay, actually 35…) of Justin and my favorite shots from our super fun shoot with Jeff! (10/10 would recommend him!)
